Longleat Safari Park

For this project we seamlessly integrated our design, furniture, interiors, and manufacturing teams to execute a comprehensive transformation of the Chameleon Tree Restaurant. Our goal was to create an enhanced dining experience for the numerous daily visitors to the safari park and Longleat House.

In order to efficiently manage the crowds, we prioritised queue management throughout the design process. The result was a dual-flow servery, featuring a chicken rotisserie as the centrepiece of the main restaurant offering. Complementing this, we crafted a standalone coffee bar stocked with chilled food options for those seeking a lighter bite or on-the-go meals.

Our team meticulously redesigned and refurbished the back-of-house facilities, including a fully renovated kitchen optimised for improved workflow, expansive storage areas for fresh produce, specialist smoking ovens, and an extensive bakery section. These enhancements were essential to support the new menu’s emphasis on fresh and flavourful ingredients.

The interior revamp showcases a wealth of unique features, such as architectural improvements to the building, innovative roof lanterns, curtain walling, updated electrical systems and plumbing.

Additionally, we incorporated eye-catching lighting designs and custom-designed restrooms, all contributing to an exceptional customer experience.

Drawing inspiration from Longleat’s rich history, our furniture and interior design scheme is an eclectic blend of bespoke wall graphics, diverse furnishings, decorative sculptural tree feature, and subtle animal motifs. Grounded in the use of natural materials, our design approach accentuates the building’s most striking features and creates a truly memorable atmosphere for visitors.
