In recent years the Space Catering team have been asked to create relaxing, social environments in workplaces for employees to enjoy hold informal meetings and enjoy breaks. Forward thinking companies are increasingly looking to create agile working spaces for staff to meet, eat and greet.
Our designers and fitters have created kitchen design installations for offices including Nationwide Building Society, Rolls Royce, Paramount Pictures and Mars HQ. In addition to the kitchen and foodservice design and layout the team have also designed the eating spaces in these workplaces to provide a complete solution.
Head office kitchen design – Nationwide Building Society
Space rose to the challenge of designing the brand new kitchen for 3400 staff at the Nationwide HQ in Swindon, creating a welcoming environment with live cooking station.
The fitting was completed in just 7 days ensuring the head office staff weren’t without their onsite kitchen and cafe for long!
VIP Entertaining and dining suite – Paramount Pictures
Within the new head office of Paramount Pictures a kitchen design with a difference was needed to provide an area for business meetings and celebrations within a limited area. The Space Catering design team delivered a stunning dining space, display cabinets, kitchen and bar area both modern and compact.
Head office kitchen and cafe design – Mars
The office kitchen design and new cafe at Mars Headquarters needed to provide more space and flexibility for staff enjoying work, rest and play. The Space design team worked closely with the client to deliver a coffee shop layout and design that resulted in a sales increase of 40%.
Agile Working Space – Rolls Royce
When Rolls Royce wanted to create a multi functional space that could be used for breakfasts, lunch and informal meetings throughout the day, they turned to Space Catering for the solution. With high quality counters, a theatre cooking station and a creative furniture scheme to allow the right combination of practicality and acoustic discretion.
